I need access to a Jira Project or Confluence Space
If you need access to an existing project or space, please do not submit a ticket in #help-biztech. IT Services cannot grant access to private team spaces.
Instead, you must request access directly from the Team Administrator who owns that space.
How to find the Administrator:
Check the Space/Project Details: Often, the "Project Lead" or "Space Admin" is listed on the main page or the "Access Denied" screen.
Ask in Slack: If you are unsure who owns a specific project, please reach out to #help-biztech on Slack. We can look up the owner for you so you can contact them directly.
Note: For security reasons, IT is not authorized to add users to private projects without the owner's permission.
I am a Space/Project Administrator
As the administrator, you have full control over who can view or edit your content.
How to add users:
Jira: Go to Project Settings > People > Add People.
Confluence: Go to Space Tools > Permissions > Edit Permissions.
Want to automate access?
Are you receiving too many manual access requests? We can help you streamline this process.
If you have a large team or frequent changes, IT can help you set up Automated Access Groups (e.g., automatically granting access based on Department or Role). Please submit a request to the BizTech Team to discuss automating permissions for your space.
